Compassion Tea Company was founded in 2011 by 6 CompassioNow board members. The goal of Compassion Tea is to “share tea, save lives” by providing steady funding for CompassioNow’s projects.
Compassion Tea sells high-quality teas sourced within the Ethical Tea Partnership, an organization that promotes the health and well-being of the tea plants, the tea workers, and the environment. Teas are available as loose leaf or in biodegradable pyramid sachets as well as in tea pillows for brewing large quantities of iced tea. We sell a balanced variety of black, green, oolong, white, and herbal teas. The majority of the staff at Compassion Tea are volunteers and 100% of Compassion Tea’s after-tax profits go directly to CompassioNow. While Compassion Tea is purchased primarily via wholesale efforts geared toward churches, coffee shops, and gift shops, it is also available for individual sales through HOPE Coffee.
